The DAISY Award For Advancing Health Equity - CNSA California Nursing Students' Association

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program started in memory of J. Patrick Barnes. Pat’s family experienced first-hand the difference his nurses made in his care through clinical excellence and outstanding compassionate care. The family created The DAISY Award to express gratitude to nurses and to enable other patients, families, and staff to thank and honor their special nurses.

Please visit DAISYFoundation.org to learn more about Pat's story and how The DAISY Award recognizes Extraordinary Nurses.

CNSA is a constituent chapter of the National Student Nursing Association (NSNA). CNSA promotes a professional and positive image of nursing in all media relations, public presentations, and publications. IT upholds the image and standards of nursing practice in all activities, according to the code and ethical student conduct. It promotes opportunities for the members to network with peers, future and current nurse leaders at international, national, state, college/university, and community levels. Please visit CNSA.org for more information.
